To join us is easy, FREE, and has no obligations attached. See our Frequently Asked Questions on what it means to join us. If you've never done modeling work before, read the section about becoming a model. Also read the info about Age Categories - you'll need to pick one or more in your application form below.
Simply:
1. Go to our online application form (in Microsoft Word format), download and complete it, and return to us via email or fax (details on form).
2. Send us between 5 and 10 recent photos of yourself. If you are unsure which photos are the best, you could send us up to 15 photos and we'll select the 10 best ones. PLEASE do NOT send us more than 15 photos, and please reduce the size of the photos to less than 2MB in total if you send via email.
The application form is very important, and contains legal information (that we have to have by law), contact details (that we need to contact you), personal details and preferences (that we need to market you appropriately), the necessary permission from your parents (if you're under-aged), details on your model agency if you have one (to negotiate the necessary legalities with them), and an indemnity form (giving us permission to market you on the web).
Your photos can either be in the form of a professional portfolio, or simply a few good photos of yourself. We prefer digital photos rather than printed photos. To get your portfolio to us, you can do either one of the following:
Email the pictures (preferably in jpg format) to models@perfectlook.co.za. Please make sure that the pictures are not larger than 2 MB in total. Our email server will NOT accept larger files.
Send it to our postal address. Please do NOT send it via registered mail - it makes our lives very difficult to stand in post office queues all day long!
If you need to deliver it personally, please contact us to make arrangements.
We'll contact you (typically within one week) to let you know if your application was successful or not. If you haven't heard from us in two weeks, please call us - we might not have received your application.
