Perfect for Charity
Our mission:
There are always people who are less fortunate that you and us - and we would
love to help them where we can. To do this, we've created a
charity initiative called "Perfect for Charity", and just some
of our contributions to date includes:
- A fashion show for Barclays
Bank (majority share-holder of Absa Bank) where all proceeds went to
Barclays-selected charities.
- Perfect Look helped promote and judged at the Golden Child
of Africa Pageant where all proceeds went to the
Child Rape Support Group.
- Look Good... Feel Better offers free beauty workshops to women suffering
the effects of cancer to help regain their much-needed self-confidence.

- Perfect Look hosted
Mr & Miss Gauteng West 2008 on
behalf of 'A Friend in Need', a charity that feeds and clothes destitute
families on the West Rand
Our focus:
As we are very passionate about the modeling and beauty industry, we would
like to focus most of our attention on the issues that could affect the lives of
the people related to this industry, like (in no specific order):
- Anorexia
- Breast cancer
- Child abuse
- Drug usage
- Rape and other violence against women and children
- Providing opportunities for those who have all the potential but can't
afford to become models, etc.
However, we will try to assist where we can even if the charitable cause has
nothing to do with this industry.
Our goals:
- We want to raise as much funds as we can for charity.
- We want to increase public awareness of the plight of those people who
are so often overlooked.
- We want to teach/inform potential victims on how to prevent becoming the
real victims.
Our partners:
We're in the process of carefully selecting those organisations that really
want to make a difference, and have the track record of doing so (like Barclays
Bank for one). If you know of any worthy cause, please
contact us with the details.
