Help
We'll add some extensive help in the months to come, including some help on how to use our easy-to-use but very powerful search engine that will be available soon.
For now, a bit of help on the following subjects:
Navigating the site
The site consists out of a number of frames:
- The top frame is used by us to put some nice pictures in, as well as the main menu. Clicking on any of those menu items, will take you to the relevant page. You can return to the main page at any time by clicking on the "Home" menu item (top left).
- The left frame has links to all the different sections where people can advertise or search for services. This is where you would normally find what you're looking for.
- The main frame (in the centre) is where most information will appear.
Note that the frames will often have scroll bars to the right and/or bottom of the frame. This indicates that there are more information in the frame than what can be viewed at once. This is especially true when you're not viewing the site in Full Screen mode (see Viewing the web site for more information). To view the rest, simply drag the scroll bar in the relevant direction.
You can at any time move to a different section of the site by simply clicking on the relevant menu item on either the top or the left menu. We've also included hyperlinks at various places to navigate easily to other related pages. (A hyperlink is normally indicated by an underlined word/words in blue or purple). Simply click on the hyperlink to go the the relevant page.
You can at any time go back to previous pages viewed by simply clicking on the "back" button of the browser (usually located close to the top left of the window).
We recommend that you view this site using the following:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or above (to check your version, open Internet Explorer, click on the Help menu (top right) and then click on "About Internet Explorer"). Earlier versions should still work, but may give unexpected results.
- View the site in full-screen mode (click on the maximize button in the top right of the window). This will allow you to view as much information as possible on the screen without using the scroll bars too much.
- Using a resolution of 1024x768 (normally the standard with all the newer PCs), although a resolution of 800x600 will also work OK. To check and change your PC's resolution
in most versions of the Windows operating system, right-click anywhere on an open area of the desktop for the pop-up menu to appear. Then select "Properties", and then select the "Settings" tab in the dialogue box that will appear. In the "Settings" screen, there will be an area where you can change the screen resolution by dragging the slider bar to either side. Note: Some older PCs can't go beyond 800x600, and some very old PCs can only do 640x480 - this will make it quite difficult to properly view the site.
